Yes, Chevrolet Brought a Full-Size Lego Batmobile to Detroit

Last week at the Detroit Auto Show, we not only got our first look at the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, but also something a little out of the ordinary. In addition to the latest generation of one of their fabled SUVs, they also showcased a Batmobile constructed completely out of Legos to promote the The Lego Batman Movie.

While anything involving Legos is sure to be fun, the model dials that up completely. The product of 222 hours of design work, followed by 1,833 hours of actual labor, the finished product stands seven feet tall and seventeen feet long. No less than 344,187 pieces of 17 different colors make up its chassis, and its interior is rife with Lego gadgetry. Check out the clip above to see Chevrolet marketing this car in the style of their “Real People, Not Actors” spots.

If you’re looking for an efficient, reliable, and connected vehicle with impressive resale value, the options that await at our local Chevrolet dealership in Stockton, CA are sure to impress. Stop by our showroom at your convenience to scope them out.
